WordPress JCarousel integration
JQuery seems to be all the range these days, and I really love some of the nifty animation effects it provides. One of my favourite JQuery plugins is in fact JCarousel. For those of you looking to integrate it with WordPress, I have a JCarousel theme which I’m sharing. It will help you easily integrate the JCarousel with your own theme.

This code is adapted from PaddSolutions’ theme masugid, they also have a tutorial showing how to integrate JCarousel with WordPress, however it didn’t work for me so I decided to reverse engineer the masugid which uses JCarousel, it took me a bit longer but I managed it in the end.
All you need to do is copy the files in this theme over to your own theme. You can also test it as a stand alone theme to make sure it works before you start.
Remember that you need to have a few posts having their featured image set, as the images are retrieved from there. In the near future I will try to modify this in order to retrieve a post’s attached images, which might also be a useful variation.
