Creating Sticky Posts with WordPress
The simplest way to have a particular post always appear on the front page of your blog is via the default wordpress sticky functionality, as follows:
In the Post editor find the “Publish” section.
Next to “Visibility” click on edit and then check the “Stick this post to the front page” option there.
Click save and you’re done.
