Smoking at Entertainment venues in Malta
This is my letter urging the authorities to enforce the no-smoking law in entertainment venues in Malta. Anyone interested in supporting our cause please join the Malta Anti-Smoking group on facebook.

Smoking laws: What a contrast!
It is an utter disgrace that this law is not being taken seriously at all. Why do non-smokers have to be subjected to second-hand smoke whenever we venture to our favourite place in St Julians and other entertainment hot spots?
Why do we have to go back home stinking of smoke?
This is a big injustice and having been in the UK during the past year I can also testify that when the smoking ban was introduced there everybody took it seriously and from day one all those concerned, including bouncers, were doing their utmost to make sure that there were no offenders. What a contrast with Malta, where it is even a common sight to see bouncers or other staff smoking inside entertainment establishments!

Well unfortunately this is Malta! As one could see, it is not only the no-smoking law matter, but so many other facts! It seems like that in this country its only money making that really matters!
This is our unfortunate reality. We are good at passing laws so that a prima faca we are at par to other European Countries, but our authorities lack the teeth to bite the offenders.
